Hi bwanted,
I have a 06 1181 and it seems to work hard to get the slide in and out but it always works so far. I always cross my fingers every time I move it in or out. I think the motor is too small for the big slide, Lance should have used hydr or a stronger motor like on bigger slides. Make sure the is nothing draging under the slide. My 2 cents worth. We love the 1181.

Sounds to me like this should be fixed under warrenty. Even if it out of warrenty. Lance replaced the lower rear quarters of the skin on mine after the warrenty period.

Keep after them to answer the leak question. The dealer or Lance may have to do some slide alignment or something to make it properly seal.

I think Lance will do the right thing and take care of the leaks, just keep talking to your dealer.
