I have bought a 1995 Lance Squire from a private party. Glad to be a Lance owner. However, in going over the camper, I cannot find the drain for the fresh water storage tank. The owners manual has a picture of a tap identified as the "drain petcock" however there is no description of where the drain is located. [This is the same picture that appears in other Lance Manuals on the web.]

Guidance would be appreciated

I have a 1995 Lance 480EC and the fresh water drain is located in the rear below the right storage compartment.

On my 2000 835, the fresh water petcock has gotten very hard to turn in both directions, almost to the point that it's feels like it's going to break.

Is there a way to fix this, or do I have to replace it?

I've used silicone spray with some success. I removed the flexible line and sprayed directly onto the rotating portion inside the valve while rotating. I don't know whether the silicone spray is good for you, so I don't use the drain valve for dispensing drinking water. I've heard that silicon grease does a better job if it can be applied.

I had to replace trhe valve about 2 yeras ago on our 1995 Lance.
Fairly inexpensive and a simple job.
