God this is a pain, previous owner of my 2006 Lance 815 had a 2x4 box made under the lance to give it height. To high for my Dodge 2500 longbed,so I removed the 2x4 box frame and called the factory rep at Lance. He gave me the correct bedrail height and cabover height from cab which is 1/4" bedrail min,1 1/2" for cabover min.Now I have no clearence on bed rail and got 2" easy on cab over.Thoughts

How about a 3/4" sheet of plywood in the bed, plus a thick rubber mat for a bed rail clearance of about 1".
