I took my camper out for a month and the manual crank for the passenger slide has come out about a half inch. The slide functions normally and I have not tried to force the crank in until I get some information. I have a call into Lance (Jim Allen) but I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue.

Thanks for the input. I just got back from CO so I did not see your reply till after I took a hammer and block of wood and tapped it back in.

Sorry for delayed response - just returned from Alaska.
Using a flashlight, lift open the flap on the underside of the slideout. You will be able to reach your hand in and insert the end of the manual rod back into its hole in the slide mechanism. Very easy and quick to do - no tools required. RMarshall 2005 Lance 1181 on 2005 Ford F450 |
