I picked up our new (2008) 1055 yesterday. Since I don't want a generator, at this time, I plan to put a floor in the generator space & use it for storage. Has anybody done this? If so what problems did you have?

Surfrat; I think I'm going to put an aluminum floor in. I will seal thedoor, we did that on our 1010 to use the generator space for storage. I talked to Lance & there is no reason a floor can not be put in.

I have a 2009 1055 and I use the generator area as storage for my different hoses. I did not put a floor in but i did notice from a trip during the winter that it gets a lot of road spray into the area. So now am looking to seal it up some how. Also you need to seal the door too or the area fills with water from rain.
