Can someone recommend one that deals with the structure and not the appliances? I'd like to know about repairing the wood, fiberglass, and what ever the stuff is I have on the outer walls (not Al).

Tks

Finished a similar job this past winter. Not a lot of fun. Had rot in the pine framing and rot in the backing plywood for the Filon fiberglass. Fortunately it was confined to the area below the horizontal plastic molding strip.

On my 1020 the hard siding appeared to be attached with staples around the perimeter underneath the edge molding. I saw little if any adhesive bonding the Filon skin to the framing in the field area. My biggest concern was getting into it and not having a way to get it all back together. In the end I was lucky, but like I said earlier it wasn't a lot of fun even for a guy who like challenges.

Regarding a 'manual', unlike a house, I rather suspect there is little consistency from one manufacturer to another. Good luck

Yes I would be interesteed in this also. Seeing as I have to replace the wood on the skirts of the camper.
