I saw in an e-mail notification from Truck Camper Magazine that BigFoot Industries has been closed down by their bank. BigFoot said it was a complete surprise to them, they were willing to wait out the recession but apparently the bank wasn't. Sure is a shame to lose another TC manufacturer. Does anyone have a list of all the TC manufacturers that have closed in the last couple of years?

That's to bad. While I've never cared for the way their truck campers looked on the outside, I've always thought they did a great job inside. They made good use of the space and had a true dinnette style seating arrangement at the table. That's one area of my Lance I've never liked.

Bigfoot, Okanagan, Alpenlite, SnowRiver, Xtreme Lite, Livin Lite, Sun Lite to name a few. There are some others coming.

My own camper is on the list, but I love it, & am glad I have it.

I subscribe to the "RV Industry News" online to keep up with what's happening in the RV industry. I have no idea how many RV manufacturers have either quit or been shut down recently. It seems bad now, but in the '70s "energy crisis" there were more closures. The RV industry is very cyclical depending on interest rates and fuel prices.
