We got back Monday(11/22)from 2 nights in Branson & 2 nights in Eureka Springs. Lots of shows & shops in Branson. We saw the Baldknobbers, Ray Stevens & Roy(Dusty) Rogers Jr. We also went through the Roy Rogers museum. Lots of people in town but not too crowded. We stayed at the city RV park beside Lake Tanycomo. Full hookups plus cable for 20 bucks a night. We could have saved 8 dollars by staying at the campground at Table Rock Lake but we were not sure if it was open. Probably will stay there next time.
The next two nights at Eureka Springs we camped at the Kettle Campground, a Good Sam park, for 10 bucks a night with electricity & water hookups. Full hookups are a little more. I think we got reduced rates because of no crowds. Eureka Springs is very hilly with winding streets. We rode a trolley all day for $3.50 each. There are about 5 trolley routes. You can get on & off as much as you want. Our campground was a stop on the trolley route which made it very convenient for us. We rode serveral routes, visited a hotel, a Victorian house & many shops. The roads going to Eureka Springs are very hilly with lots of turns. Don't speed & stay alert & let you passenger enjoy the scenery. During the summer Eureka Springs has the Passion Play.
We had a relaxing time & enjoyed this time of small crowds.

My brother and his wife were there at the same time and went to some of the same shows. Smile However, they weren't in their RV, but were staying in B&Bs.
This is a good time of year to go... much smaller crowds!
