On a recent trip to the Texas Hill Country we spent time at the beautiful Buckhorn Lake RV Resort for the Lone Star TDR Texas Rally 2004.

There was a motorhome rally in progress when we checked in early. We were parked between a big Prevost conversion coach and a Holiday Rambler motorhome. We took the attached photo of our Lance parked between them and titled the photo "runnin' with the big dogs"! When we were checking in, a motorhome owner checked out our Lance. He had owned one previously in 1984 which was the same as our first Lance and was impressed with the changes Lance has made. We had a nice visit with the friendly folks in the Prevost too.

Bill, great photo! We've had similar experiences parking amongst the giants at some A&M events. We always get some nice comments about our Lance.

Thanks, Chuck.

While on the same trip to the Texas Hill Country, we spent a couple of days at one of our favorite state parks, South Llano River State Park, near Junction. We enjoy taking walks on the trails and watching the wild Rio Grande turkeys. At night the sky is filled with visible stars since we are away from the big city lights.

While sitting at the park table, we overheard a couple comment to each other as they walked by, "Now, I've seen it all... a truck camper with a slide out and a TV satellite dish!" We hear similar comments quite often. Big Grin
