I don't understand why no one posts unless they camp in their driveway. The last week of Sept the DW and I spent five days at the White River Bull Shoals State Park near Mountain Home Ark. A very nice park good fishing clean showers and restrooms.Activities for the DW, crafts and photography. We also stay at Natchez Trace State Park in Tn.full hookups and very clean facilities.For our first long range outing it was very enjoyable. Also the 8scs worked great.

Folks from the KC area fish in Bull Shoals & other impoundments of the White River (Taneycomo & Table Rock). The only fishing I have done on the White was in Taneycomo which has excellent Rainbow & Brown trout fishing. I may have to think about heading back down there now that you mentioned it.
If anyone wants to fish & see all the music shows in Branson, Tanycomo extends from just west of Branson & going east to Forcyth, Mo. Lots of places to rent boats or fish from the banks or off docks. Great place for truck camping. Table Rock State Park is very nice.
